Position: Educational Psychologist

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Educational Psychologist to contribute to the academic and emotional well-being of students. This role is essential in addressing the psychological and behavioral needs of students, fostering a supportive and effective learning atmosphere.

Qualifications:

  • Doctoral or Master's degree in Educational Psychology or a related discipline.
  • Valid School Psychologist License in the relevant state.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to determine students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral requirements.
  • Design and execute tailored support strategies and interventions based on assessment findings.
  • Provide therapeutic counseling to students to help them navigate emotional, social, and behavioral challenges.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to promote students' academic and personal development.
  • Initiate and implement programs aimed at enhancing mental health awareness and preventing bullying.
  • Engage in the development and evaluation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 plans.
  • Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of assessments, interventions, and student progress.
  • Offer crisis intervention and support for students facing urgent situations.
  • Participate in continuous professional development to remain informed about best practices and advancements in the field.

Licensure:

  • Must possess a valid School Psychologist License.
