Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate a team of professionals to develop and execute project scope, schedules, and budgets.
  • Provide technical expertise in construction management, including plan interpretation, specification, estimates, and critical path schedules.
  • Oversee documentation and document controls for projects, including federal aid.
  • Develop and manage project scope, schedule, budget, and contract documents for review and approval.
  • Track financial aspects of projects and notify the team of necessary adjustments to maintain budget.
  • Attend project progress meetings and assess risk and long-term schedule impacts on the project budget.
  • Communicate project updates to the team, client, and supervisor.
Leadership Roles
  • Supervise, mentor, and coach support staff to ensure their growth and development.
  • Support the Area Manager and Construction Manager in developing staff and market sector.
Business Development Roles
  • Lead marketing and business development activities for transportation projects.
  • Track future opportunities and develop strategies to win projects.
  • Assist in making go/no-go decisions on RFPs and RFIs.
  • Develop partnering and teaming strategies.
  • Lead proposal development with support from our proposal group.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and public agencies on projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Current Idaho PE license or ability to obtain within three months.
  • Min. 10 years of progressive transportation engineering experience.
  • Experience with ITD and/or LHTAC CE&I required.
  • Proven ability to work with others and manage project schedules and deliverables.
  • Strong communication and writing skills required.

  • Competitive salary range: $130,000-$175,000 depending on experience.
