Neurosurgery APP Opportunity

Banner Health is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our thriving Neurosurgery Department at Banner - University Medical Center Tucson. As the region's only accredited Level 1 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center, we provide exceptional patient care and empathy to our diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care in inpatient settings
  • Assist in Neurosurgery cases
  • Participate in clinical management of neurological surgery patients
  • Prescribe medications and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Collaborate with the care team to provide high-quality patient care
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
  • PA/NP Board Certification
  • DEA license, BLS, CPR, ACLS certification
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
