Studio Casa Vita LLC is seeking a highly skilled Residential Design Lead to join our team. Our firm specializes in high-end residential design across the country, including both new construction and renovation projects. We pride ourselves on our meticulous attention to detail, deep care for our clients, and dedication to executing work with intention. The ideal candidate will collaborate with our team to develop design drawings using AutoCAD, produce detailed construction documents, and manage projects through all phases of the design and construction process.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop design drawings using AutoCAD and create compelling client presentations.
  • Produce clear, detailed construction documents for residential projects.
  • Ensure compliance with city permit requirements and residential building codes.
  • Tackle design challenges using creative problem-solving and critical thinking.
  • Oversee quality control throughout all project phases, from design through construction.
  • Conduct site visits and field measurements to verify existing conditions.
  • Manage communication with clients, consultants, and contractors to keep projects on track.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, sharing expertise and guidance.
  • Take ownership of projects and work independently, without the need for close supervision.
Position Requirements:
  • Associates degree required; Bachelors degree in Architecture preferred.
  • 4-8 years of experience producing construction documents, particularly for residential projects.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage projects independently, taking full ownership without requiring close supervision.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven track record of producing clear and legible construction documents.
