Bakery Department Leader

As a Bakery Department Leader, you'll play a critical role in achieving our goals by leading a team of talented associates and driving sales growth in our bakery department.

• Lead a team of associates to achieve sales and profit goals, while maintaining a safe and clean environment.
• Develop and implement a department business plan to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
• Train and develop associates on their job performance and participate in the performance appraisal process.
• Monitor inventory levels, manage stock, and maintain an awareness of inventory/stocking conditions.
• Ensure proper temperatures in cases and coolers are maintained and temperature logs are maintained.
• Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures, identifying unsafe conditions, and practicing preventive maintenance.

• Excellent oral/written communication skills.
• Current food handlers permit once employed.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
