Position Overview:
Samba Care is seeking a dedicated RN Supervisor to oversee the delivery of exceptional resident care within our facility. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of care in a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and oversee the execution of resident care plans, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, infection control measures, and proper positioning and toileting strategies.
  • Coordinate and supervise all services within assigned units to foster a comfortable and homelike atmosphere for residents.
  • Conduct regular rounds on nursing units, engaging with both licensed and unlicensed staff, monitoring residents' health status, and welcoming new admissions.
  • Ensure that all staff members treat residents with dignity and respect while adhering to facility policies and procedures.
  • Support and guide nursing staff in assessment and care planning for residents experiencing changes in their health conditions.
  • Monitor incident reporting and documentation, assisting in root cause analysis and preventive measures as necessary.
  • Facilitate effective communication among licensed nurses, providers, and responsible parties to meet resident care needs.
  • Ensure accurate documentation through ongoing supervision and spot-checking.
  • Respond to facility emergencies and collaborate with Unit Managers to maintain continuity of care.
  • Address staffing concerns and assist in hiring and disciplinary actions as per HR policies.
  • Supervise the proper use of medical equipment and recommend supply needs to the Director of Nursing.
  • Participate in direct resident care as needed and assist in performance evaluations for nursing staff.

Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and possess a valid RN license. A minimum of one year of supervisory experience in long-term care is preferred.
