The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver exceptional nursing care to designated residents, following the directives outlined by physicians, care plans, and established protocols, while adhering to the facility's policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform tasks as assigned by the Charge Nurse, Unit Manager, or Supervisor.
  • Communicate residents' needs and concerns to licensed nursing staff.
  • Demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively with both professional and non-professional team members.
  • Exhibit patience, tact, a positive attitude, and enthusiasm, especially when managing challenging residents.

This position may involve frequent interruptions and interactions with residents and family members who may be experiencing emotional distress.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a Nursing Assistant training program.
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant Certification from the State of New York.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check, PPD/TB Screening, and Drug Testing.

It is essential to maintain an updated Certified Nursing Assistant Certification, along with CPR and First Aid training.
