Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in therapeutic activities and programs to meet patients' psychosocial and developmental needs.
  • Facilitate adjustment to healthcare experiences for patients on our Behavioral Health cohort.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
  • Delegate work assignments to volunteers and participate in clinical training of student interns.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Child Development, Child Life, or a closely related field with a concentration in child life.
  • 600-hour Child Life internship under the supervision of a certified child life specialist.
  • Child Life Certification required within 1 year of hire.
