Join Our Team as a Youth Counselor

CHOR Youth and Family Services is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to fill the role of Youth Counselor in our Mathom House and Easton Manor Programs. As a Youth Counselor, you will play a vital role in providing supervision, guidance, and support to residents in our residential treatment facilities.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about working with youth and are committed to creating a safe and supportive environment. Our programs are designed to provide responsive and innovative care to adolescent males, and we are seeking individuals who share our vision and values.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide supervision and guidance to residents in our residential treatment facilities
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents and their families
  • Collaborate with clinical staff and case managers to create residential behavioral goals
  • Actively supervise residents during academic instruction, recreational activities, and in common areas of the facility
  • Maintain safety and security of residents and facility
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or 2 years of college in a social or human services related field
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience working with youth
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must pass criminal history and child abuse clearances
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
