Edgewood ISD (TX) is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing healthcare services to students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide healthcare services to students and staff, including administering medications, treating injuries, and providing first aid.
- Develop and implement health education programs for students and staff.
- Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the health and well-being of students and staff.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student and staff health information.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in healthcare and education.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Texas.
- Experience working in a school setting or with children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary and Benefits:
Salary is on the Teacher Salary Schedule on the EISD Compensation Plan on a term or probationary contract, as applicable. Starting salary is $59,439.00 with Bachelor's degree; and additional stipend of $1,523.00 for Master's degree, with additional consideration for directly related experience.
