Foam Assembly Technician

At United Canvas & Sling Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Foam Assembly Technician to join our team. This entry-level position involves assembling sports equipment and athletic products on an assembly line using hands, tools, and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Study assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists to prepare for work.
• Position parts and subassemblies using templates or measurements.
• Assemble components by examining connections and fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Operate within standard operations procedures (SOPs).
• Verify specifications by measuring completed components.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures and regulations.

Requirements:

• Possess knowledge of hand and power tools to assemble aluminum, steel, and stainless equipment.
• Awareness of safety procedures while performing assembly tasks.
• Ability to read and understand diagrams or blueprints.
• Flexibility to work overtime and/or weekend shifts as required.

This position requires a High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED), and on-the-job training will be provided for this entry-level position. Our estimated salary range is $40,000 - $55,000 per year.
