Refrigeration Technician Job Description

As a Refrigeration Technician with CoolSys - Refrigeration and HVAC Systems, you will be part of a leading indoor environment solutions company, providing top-notch HVAC & refrigeration installations, maintenance, and energy solutions. Our company offers ongoing education, exposure to a variety of projects, industry-leading benefit packages, and competitive pay ranging from $30 - $50/hour.

You will be responsible for repairing and maintaining refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment, conducting preventative maintenance, and providing general repair work. If you have 3+ years of experience in commercial HVAC and refrigeration installation, a valid driver's license, and excellent customer relations skills, we invite you to be a part of our team and contribute to our continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and maintain refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and general repair work
  • Troubleshoot, test, and balance systems
  • Work in elevated locations, climb and balance on a ladder, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience with commercial HVAC and refrigeration installation
  • Valid driver's license
  • Active EPA certification
  • Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
