Job Summary

Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing essential services to refugees and immigrants in Arizona. We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Case Manager I to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' needs and develop personalized self-sufficiency plans to ensure successful resettlement.
  • Provide direct case management and support to clients, including cultural orientation, language training, and access to essential services.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of core services, including employment, education, and healthcare.
  • Maintain accurate and timely case notes and documentation in required databases.
  • Participate in program meetings, trainings, and supervision to stay informed about best practices and organizational policies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, education, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and cultural sensitivity.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with diverse populations.
  • Valid AZ driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
