Job Summary


As a Group Leader Environmental Health Worker at Penn State Health, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff. You will be responsible for scheduling, directing, and maintaining a clean and safe environment throughout the medical center. In the absence of the supervisor, you will inspect and direct activities to ensure that the highest standards of cleanliness and safety are maintained.



Key Responsibilities



  • Schedule and direct activities to ensure a clean and safe environment throughout the medical center.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and safety by ensuring that all areas of the medical center are clean and free from hazards.
  • In the absence of the supervisor, inspect activities and direct as necessary to ensure that the highest standards of cleanliness and safety are maintained.


Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need to have a combination of education and experience that demonstrates your capability to perform the duties of the position. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and you must score a 75% or greater on a mandatory department knowledge test.
