Job Summary

This is a critical role within the Lockheed Martin organization, responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate management of materials and inventory. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, and shipping materials, as well as maintaining accurate records and performing various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and inspect incoming materials, ensuring they meet quality and quantity standards
  • Store and maintain inventory levels, using computerized systems to track and manage stock
  • Prepare and ship materials, using various modes of transportation and handling equipment
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, using data analysis and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry and documentation, to support the smooth operation of the warehouse
Requirements
  • High School degree or equivalent required
  • Basic mathematical skills and knowledge of standard measuring devices
  • Demonstrated capability in the use of standard hand power and bench tools
  • General computer skills and ability to learn new software
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance, requiring US Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment, with knowledge of inventory management systems
  • Ability to operate various types of industrial trucks and equipment
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols, with a focus on maintaining a safe working environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and problem-solving skills
