About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Bilingual Store Associate to join our team at Sherwin-Williams. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with wholesale and retail customers, and achieving sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring high levels of satisfaction through prompt and accurate sales transactions
  • Assist customers in person and over the phone, determining their needs and presenting appropriate products and services
  • Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
  • Process sales transactions accurately and consistently, following company policies and procedures
  • Meet and exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis, maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency
  • Maintain precise work order files and formulas, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
  • Pull and stock products from the sales floor or warehouse, maintaining a clean and organized store environment
  • Tint and mix products to customer specifications, ensuring high-quality results
  • Load and unload delivery trucks, assisting with deliveries as needed
  • Comply with inventory control procedures, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
  • Suggest ways to improve sales and customer service, contributing to the growth and success of the store
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English and Spanish
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 70 pounds on occasion
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
  • Have a valid, unrestricted driver's license
  • Have at least a high school diploma or GED
  • Have at least one year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
  • Have previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products
  • Have previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
