Position Overview: Exeter Government Services LLC is seeking an Information Systems Training Consultant Intermediate to enhance our proposed staffing plan for the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Proponent Office-Army Training Information System (TPO ATIS). This office is dedicated to the development, delivery, and management of Army training and educational information systems, supporting applications, and data on behalf of TRADOC to fulfill its Training and Leader Development mission.
Contract Scope: This contract encompasses functional analysis, design documentation, functional reviews, and programming feedback on ATIS development. Responsibilities include gathering and analyzing subject matter expert (SME) insights on ATIS requirements, mapping ATIS and legacy system requirements for traceability, and providing minimal support for legacy system compliance and functionality until they are phased out. Additionally, the role involves repositioning and repackaging legacy systems and supporting the ATIS legacy systems sunset working group.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Organize and conduct moderately complex training and educational programs for information systems or user personnel.
- Maintain records of training activities, employee progress, and program effectiveness.
- Analyze user needs and provide training on accessing cloud resources and other directed training.
- Design, test, and develop software solutions to meet user requirements.
- Recommend upgrades for existing systems and programs.
- Create diagrams, flowcharts, and models to illustrate necessary coding for programmers.
- Ensure continued functionality of programs during maintenance and software testing.
- Document all aspects of systems or applications for future upgrades and maintenance.
- Revise development processes to address bugs or client concerns.
- Design and execute comprehensive training plans.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess:
- A minimum of ten years of experience in commercial enterprises or active duty military service.
- Five or more years of experience in training, doctrine, military instruction, or adult-level training programs.
- Five or more years of experience in analyzing and developing training requirements and designing training programs.
- Two or more years of experience in educational research, curriculum planning, and evaluating instructional materials.
