Job Summary:We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse to join our team at the Gathering Place PROS. The successful candidate will provide medical and nursing care to adults with mental illness, ensuring their overall health and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide medical and nursing care to adults with mental illness
- Ensure adherence to medical and nursing policies and procedures
- Conduct group training sessions on personal hygiene, disease prevention, and health and wellness
- Collaborate with program staff to develop and implement treatment plans
- Monitor and maintain a safe and clean environment
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York
- Experience in mental health preferred but not required
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and external agencies
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Clean NYS driver's license
- Knowledge of MS Word, Google Chrome, and basic internet
- Ability to represent the agency in an appropriate manner
$50 per hour
