Position Overview

CPIhealth is a leading organization committed to delivering empathetic and thorough care to individuals dealing with chronic pain. We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled individual to become a vital part of our medical team as a Medical Assistant. This position entails providing essential administrative and clinical support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for examinations, guide them to treatment areas, and assist physicians during treatment procedures.
  • Measure, collect, and document patients' vital signs, including pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height.
  • Conduct patient interviews and accurately record or input information into medical records.
  • Gather comprehensive medical data to aid physicians in assessing patient needs, ensuring all necessary charts and forms are prepared for consultations.
  • Set up treatment rooms for patient examinations.
  • Clean and disinfect rooms post-procedure, ensuring equipment is sanitized and supplies are replenished.
  • Monitor patients' recovery, communicate observations to providers, and suggest modifications to treatment plans as necessary.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with patients post-treatment to track their progress and recommend further care if needed.
  • Exhibit a willingness to learn and adapt to evolving workflows and procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Assist in maintaining an orderly environment and follow appropriate cleaning protocols.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the mission and values of CPIhealth.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience as a Medical Assistant or in similar roles is preferred.
  • Stable employment history.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare settings.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including keyboarding, Microsoft Office, and electronic medical record systems.
  • Strong typing, spelling, punctuation, and grammar skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
  • Capability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.

  • Effective communication skills with both superiors and peers.

Pay Rate: $18/hour to $20/hour based on experience

Schedule

Monday to Thursday, 7:45 am to 4:30 pm, with Fridays off
