Responsibilities:Planning and Coordinating:
In collaboration with the Program Manager, plans, organizes, and coordinates goals and activities of the Early Head Start Program, ensuring that program objectives are met within prescribed time frames and funding parameters.
Reporting and Administrative Duties:
Maintains accurate, complete, and correct records as required by federal/state guidelines, Brighter Beginnings policy, and administrative regulations.
Direct Services:
Provides client case management services for a caseload of 6 families, completing all duties of a Child Development Specialist as pertains to their caseload and any coverage needed of team members' caseloads.
This role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Child Development, Social Work, or related field, with at least 2 years of experience working with families and children from birth to 5 years. The ideal candidate will have Spanish language fluency, supervision and/or leadership experience, knowledge of Early Childhood Education, and demonstrated ability to create a relationship of trust and support with people of different backgrounds and circumstances.
Salary and Benefits:We are proud to offer competitive wages and benefits to our employees, including $70,000 - $75,000 per year, 100% employer-paid health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, two weeks of vacation (increasing after one year of employment), 13 paid holidays, sick leave accrual, optional employee-paid dependent health coverage, 403b retirement account with matching, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), and Employee Assistant Program (EAP).
