We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Assistant Manager to join our team at Evermore Orlando Resort. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for supporting all areas of marketing, including online presence, digital marketing strategies, event planning, and coordination of tours for media and PR.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Support: Contribute to our online presence and digital marketing strategies, assist with event planning and execution, coordinate tours for media and PR, oversee asset collection and organization during photo and video shoots, manage Evermore's exposure on external websites, collaborate with promotional partners, and support the development and distribution of marketing materials.
  • Photo and Video Shoots: Coordinate photo and video shoots, ensuring all necessary teams, vendors, and talent are organized.
  • Tours and Events: Organize and conduct tours for media personnel, influencers, and PR representatives, ensuring they receive a comprehensive and positive experience.
  • Branding and Exposure: Enhance branding and exposure on partner websites throughout the customer journey.
  • Marketing Tools and Assets: Support the sales and operations teams with marketing tools and assets.
  • Website and App Maintenance: Assist in monitoring, maintaining, and updating the resort's website and app, ensuring content accuracy, user-friendliness, and functionality as intended.
  • Joint Marketing Campaigns: Collaborate with promotional partners to support the development and execution of joint marketing campaigns.
  • Marketing Efforts: Monitor the effectiveness of partner marketing efforts, including promotions, and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Co-branded Marketing Materials: Coordinate the creation and distribution of co-branded marketing materials for sales partners.
  • Marketing Asset Management: Maintain a database of marketing assets, including images, videos, and promotional materials.
  • Marketing Collateral and Promotional Items: Manage inventory and distribution of marketing collateral and promotional items.
  • Content Creation: Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content, including blog posts, videos, and images, that showcase the resort's unique offerings.
  • Marketing Materials Editing: Participate in the editing and proofreading of marketing materials, including retouching and manipulating images.
  • Time Management: Handle multiple demands and competing priorities to meet deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in a marketing role.
  • Hospitality or Travel Industry Experience: Preferred, although not required.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational and project management skills, exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, ability to work independently and as part of a team, creative thinker with a passion for marketing and brand development, ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple competing tasks in a fast-paced environment, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, people person with the ability to interact with a wide range of individuals, proficient in Google Business, Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, experience with Photoshop or other graphics software, enthusiasm for the hospitality and resort industry.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting and Mobility: Able to safely lift, pull, and push up to 15 pounds, able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and reach periodically.
  • Computer Use: Able to sit and use the computer for hours at a time, visually look at a computer for extended periods, repetitive hand motions, such as typing.
