We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Education Professional to join our team at SAL Community Services. As a Child Development Specialist, you will play a vital role in creating a quality learning environment that actively engages children to learn and play.
Key Responsibilities- Create and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of children.
- Assess the developmental needs of children and develop strategies to build their knowledge and skills.
- Develop positive working relationships with families and communicate effectively with them.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your knowledge, skills, and abilities as an early childhood educator.
- Minimum of sixty semester hours from an accredited college or university with a minimum of six semester hours in courses related directly to child care and/or development, from birth to age six.
- One year (1560 clock hours) of child development experience in a nursery school, kindergarten, or licensed early care and education center and 30 semester hours (45 quarter hours) of credits from an accredited college or university with six semester hours in courses related directly to child care and/or child development, from birth to six.
- Completion of credentialing programs approved by the Department.
