Are you an experienced DevOps engineer looking for a new challenge? Do you have a passion for automating build, test, and release processes? We're seeking a skilled DevOps Automation Engineer to join our Kuiper Software team at Amazon.

About the Team

The Kuiper Software Health Automation team owns labs, tools, and software for verifying the quality of our networking equipment before release. This software will be operating both on the ground and in space.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and build advanced automated build, test, and release infrastructure
  • Drive adoption of best practices in code health, testing, and maintainability
  • Work closely with development teams from software and hardware, as well as program management and other stakeholders, to rapidly deliver high-quality software
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar technical field
  • 2+ years of experience in any of the following: test lab support, operational hardware support
  • 2+ years of experience with test automation, debugging, building test tools, and testing frameworks
  • 2+ years of experience working with Linux-based systems
  • 2+ years of experience in computer networking (admin level)
