Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Yoga Teacher to join our team at YogaSix - Columbia. As a Yoga Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a safe, fun, and creative class experience for our students.
About the Role:
- Teaching Experience: You will be responsible for teaching Vinyasa-Based Heated Yoga & Sculpt classes to students of all levels.
- Class Preparation: You will be responsible for setting up the classroom, including props, mat spacing, music, and lighting.
- Class Instruction: You will provide top-notch class instruction, creating a personal connection with each student and adhering to the Yoga Six standards and guidelines.
- Student Interaction: You will be responsible for following up with students after class and building community and connection.
- Cleanliness: You will be responsible for cleaning the studio space after each class.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: You must have a minimum of 200 hour Yoga Alliance Certification and 1+ years of teaching experience.
- Personality: You must have an outgoing personality with a strong desire to provide exceptional client service and a genuine ability to connect with complete strangers on a personal level.
- Skills: You must be able to teach a safe, fun, and creative class with a genuine interest in student success, whether novice or seasoned practitioner.
- Certifications: You must have a current CPR Certification.
What We Offer:
- Compensation: Class rate varies on experience/ability/formats.
- Screening Process: Screened candidates will be invited to attend a preliminary audition.
