About the RoleAs a Registered Nurse on our Adult Psychiatric Unit, you will be responsible for:
- Providing direct nursing care to patients with a range of mental health conditions, including emotional disorders, mental illness, and substance abuse.
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans to optimize patient outcomes and maximize available resources.
- Collaborating with physicians, social workers, mental health counselors, and other disciplines to ensure comprehensive care.
- Providing education and emotional support to patients and their families, incorporating patient/family teaching into all aspects of nursing practice.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current State of practice RN licensure within 90 days of graduation or active license.
- Basic computer skills.
