Join our team at Blue Collar Services as a skilled painter, where your expertise will contribute to enhancing the beauty and functionality of residential spaces.
Position:
Full-Time (Monday to Friday)
Compensation:
$25 to $30 per hour, commensurate with experience

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess areas for painting and calculate the necessary quantity and type of paint.
- Select and procure suitable paint colors and finishes, mixing as required.
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including the removal of old finishes.
- Safeguard furniture, hardware, trim, and other non-painted surfaces through proper masking and covering.
- Support carpentry tasks, including the installation and repair of trim, windows, and doors.
- Assist in the installation and repair of decks and patios.
- Execute painting tasks for both interior and exterior surfaces.
- Repair and finish drywall surfaces as needed.
- Aid in the assembly and installation of furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of workspaces.
- Conduct routine maintenance on assigned properties.
Qualifications:
- Possess personal tools required for the trade (specialty tools will be provided).
- Previous experience in a similar position or a strong willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow directions and learn from seasoned professionals.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance are preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand for extended periods while painting.
- Good balance and capability to climb ladders and scaffolding.
- Capacity to lift items weighing up to 15 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to differentiate between colors.
