Key Responsibilities

  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to achieve accurate diagnoses
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

Requirements

  • Associates or Applied Science Degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Successful completion of a Radiologic Technology Program with training in MRI
  • At least 2 years of experience working as a MRI Technologist
  • Current certification from the ARRT in MRI or board eligibility to obtain registry within six months of hire date
  • Current WV Medical Imaging license and BLS certification

Physical Demands

Heavy Work: Exerting up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently and/or in excess of 20 lbs. of force constantly.
