Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist

Beloved Ones is seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide crisis intervention, therapeutic intervention, and case management services to clients in our STRTP settings.
Key Responsibilities- Provide crisis intervention and therapeutic intervention services to clients, including assessment, collateral, and therapeutic treatment.
- Conduct case management functions, including visiting and counseling clients and their families, to determine service needs and provide services or referrals.
- Participate in case conferencing with multiple service providers to develop and approve client plans and monitor progress.
- Recommend therapy services, prepare progress notes, charts, and closing/transfer summaries for clients.
- Write chart notes in accordance with professional standards, state regulations, and department protocol.
- Accompany clients to appointments and provide assistance with paperwork and intervention services.
- Serve as liaison and consultant between departments, organizations, parents, children, seniors, probation officers, and other stakeholders to coordinate treatment.
- Facilitate groups, including developing operating procedures, documenting member involvement, resolving problems, and planning special events.
- Participate in treatment team, staff, and professional meetings to discuss client progress and serve on committees and boards.
- Maintain a safe environment for clients and staff by adhering to department procedures and professional standards.
- Recommend service and program needs and assist in developing policies and procedures.
- Compose and prepare correspondence in accordance with standard policies.
- Monitor productivity and workflow to ensure deadlines are met.
- Enter and retrieve information into computer databases and use the system to retrieve reports.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Four years of experience in a mental health setting as a specialist in physical restoration, social adjustment, or vocational adjustment.
- Valid Driver's License.
Must meet California Code of Regulations Title IX, §630 requirements for Rehabilitation Specialist. Up to two years of graduate professional education may be substituted for the experience requirement on a year-for-year basis. Up to two years of post-associate degree clinical experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree, in addition to the required four years in a mental health setting.
