## Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team in Sioux City, Iowa. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general orthopedic surgery, with the ability to build sub-specialty interests. The successful candidate will have a rewarding mix of outpatient, inpatient, and surgery responsibilities, with an average of 16 patients per day. The position offers a shared call schedule of 1:3, with 10 days per month.

## Responsibilities

* Evaluate, interpret, and coordinate information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
* Perform general orthopedic surgery, including fracture management, total hips & knees, upper & lower extremities, trigger finger & carpal tunnel release
* Conduct in-office procedures, including injections, casting, suture removal, and fluid withdrawal from joints
* Collaborate with a team environment to provide patient-focused care
* Develop and maintain excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

## Requirements

* MD or DO degree
* Board Eligible/Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
* Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa
* Eligible to work in the United States
* J1/H1B Visa Candidates Accepted
