About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Lead Community Program Facilitator. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality programs and services that promote youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility in our community.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing program activities that are culturally relevant, developmentally appropriate, and consistent with YMCA values. They will also maintain accurate records, adhere to safety and cleanliness standards, and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver program activities that meet the needs of diverse participants
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, skills, and progress
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for participants and staff
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to participants and families
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of one year's experience in programming or program growth
  • CPR and First Aid certification and Safety training within 30 days of hire
  • Adherence to Blood borne Pathogen standards and annual training
  • Concussion training prior to working in sports-related activities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to the mission, cause of the YMCA, and upholding its values and ethics
Working Conditions:

This role requires the ability to work in a moderate to noisy environment, multitask in a changing environment, and occasionally work outside in inclement weather.
