Early Childhood Education Specialist

Sonnets Academy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Early Childhood Lead Teacher to join our Infant Classroom team. As a key member of our educational team, you will be responsible for creating engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculum lessons that foster a child-centered, play-based environment.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with our developmental curricular goals and fosters open communication with parents.
- Collaborate with the Director, Education Coordinator, and other team members to ensure a cohesive and effective classroom environment.
- Assess and report on child progress using curricular checklists, anecdotal notes, and narratives.
- Supervise and mentor Associate Teachers and Assistant Teachers to ensure a high-quality learning environment.
- Attend and participate in team meetings and collaborative sessions to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Strong knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for 9 months-to-18-month olds.
- Experience creating curriculum lessons for age group.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- One or more years of professional experience in an early childhood infant classroom.
- Competitive salary range: $49,000 - $55,000 per year.
