PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:

Conduct analytical and raw material responsibilities to guarantee the consistency of laboratory evaluations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform testing on incoming raw materials, in-process/bulk/intermediate products, finished goods, and stability samples utilizing primarily wet bench and physical methodologies.
  • Ensure that testing is executed accurately and adheres to GLP, GMP, USP, SOP, and other validated testing protocols.
  • Meticulously document raw data and analyze, compute, and interpret the findings.
  • Oversee the management of laboratory reagents, including inventory control, current Safety Data Sheets (SDS), personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, waste generation, and disposal processes.
  • Advocate for GMP and safety practices throughout the facility.
  • Encourage continuous improvement and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Be aware of potential exposure to hazardous chemicals.
  • Engage in additional tasks as directed by the Quality Supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS:

Essential:

Familiarity with fundamental laboratory techniques employed in an analytical setting, including but not limited to volumetric glassware, analytical weighing, pH measurement, viscosity assessment, specific gravity determination, and infrared spectroscopy.

Proficiency in utilizing a personal computer and peripheral devices to accurately input and analyze data and generate reports.

Understanding of chemical safety protocols and protective equipment.

Capability to adhere to established priorities, working independently and efficiently.

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues.

Capacity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with frequently shifting priorities, while maintaining focus and delivering quality results.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:

A Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related field is required.
