We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Professional Nurse to join our team at CHRISTUS Health. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities- Prescribe, delegate, coordinate, supervise, and evaluate patient teaching and the activities of ancillary nursing personnel.
- Provide direct and indirect care to patients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Graduate of a State Board School of Nursing or equivalent.
- Current RN license or permit to practice professional nursing in the State of Louisiana.
- Current NIHSS certification at time of hire or within 90 days of hire for experienced RNs or completion within 12 months of hire for new graduate nurses and maintain certification thereafter.
- Current Arrhythmia recognition at time of hire or within 8 weeks of hire for experienced RNs or completion within 6 months for new graduate nurses.
