Job Summary

Oceaneering is seeking a skilled Test Technician to join our team. As a Test Technician, you will be responsible for conducting thorough testing of our Mobile Robotics products to ensure they meet all specified requirements before deployment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for project-specific scenarios or features.
  • Perform functional, regression, and performance testing according to established procedures and guidelines to identify defects and ensure product reliability.
  • Accurately document test procedures, results, and any defects or anomalies encountered during testing.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to provide feedback on product performance and support resolution efforts.
  • Conduct project-specific Pre-FAT or FATs in coordination with project teams.

Requirements
  • Associate degree in an Engineering discipline or a related field, or relevant combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrable multidisciplinary skillset (e.g., mechanical, electrical, software).
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with robotics systems, MaxMover or similar technologies.
  • Proven experience in product testing.
  • Familiarity with test methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Working Conditions
  • Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night.
  • Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the workplace.
  • Work surface is stable (flat).
  • Requires working indoors in environmentally controlled conditions.
