Maintenance Professional

FPI Management, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team.
Salary: $24-$27 per hour
About the RoleThe Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of apartment homes, buildings, and grounds.
This role involves performing highly diversified duties, including but not limited to:
- Repairing flooring, drywall, and appliances;
- Troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, safety and security systems (lighting, locks, smoke/CO2 alarms, etc.), and HVAC systems;
- Painting (interior and exterior);
- Cleaning (sweeping, mopping, garden/yard upkeep, etc.).
The Maintenance Technician must conduct all job duties in accordance with company policy and all safety protocols.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Maintenance Technician will be responsible for:
- Conducting regular inspections of apartment homes, buildings, and grounds to identify potential issues;
- Performing repairs and maintenance tasks as needed;
- Ensuring that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner;
- Providing excellent customer service to residents and staff;
- Maintaining accurate records of work performed and materials used.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably within Residential Property Management;
- A high school diploma or equivalency certificate required; technical school and/or CAMT certification, preferred;
- A valid driver's license, a good driving record, current motor vehicle insurance which meets State requirements, and an operable vehicle that meets FPI's Driving Standards and Personal Vehicle Use policy;
- The ability to wear a respirator, and have the ability to be medically fit for duty and cleared to wear a respirator, and comply with FPI's facial hair policy;
- Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English;
- Basic computer skills (email, internet, etc.).
