About the Role
The Mazda Financial Services Customer Assistance Specialist plays a crucial role in our customer service department. This position is dedicated to achieving the objectives of our private label department by managing inbound customer service inquiries and collections from various stakeholders, including customers, dealers, and financial institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with valued customers, dealers, and third parties to address inquiries and concerns.
- Operate within the designated hours of 8 am to 6 pm Arizona time, Monday through Friday.
- Participate in a comprehensive training program, which includes virtual and in-office components.
- Utilize effective communication strategies to resolve customer inquiries related to payments, account status, and general questions.
- Implement inbound and outbound calling strategies to assist customers in resolving financial issues and delinquency.
- Foster strong relationships with dealers by addressing their inquiries through various communication channels.
- Support various processing functions, including email management and database updates, while maintaining attention to detail and efficiency.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in customer service or call center environments is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and results-driven.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to multitask effectively and adapt to changing situations.
