We are seeking a highly skilled Client Services Technician to join our team at Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in connecting patients to resources and team members to promote the continuity of care and enhanced care coordination.
Responsibilities- Participate in daily huddles to identify gaps in care and ensure seamless patient transitions.
- Serve as the clinic's electronic health record (EHR) super user and provide training to new team members.
- Coordinate scheduling, referral management, and health records maintenance to ensure efficient patient care.
- Assist in the empanelment process by assigning patients to primary care providers and ensuring timely appointments.
- Oversee clinic access to the Health Information Exchange (HIE) and retrieve pertinent health care information for providers.
- Complete special projects independently, analyzing and resolving issues as they arise.
- Manage internal and external referrals, ensuring timely completion and supporting performance improvement activities.
- Assist with other programs, such as the Meds in Hand Program and pharmacy pick-up list.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Six months of experience in a fast-paced office environment, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and demands.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, obtained within 90 days of hire.
- Excellent customer service and telephone communication skills.
- Proficient knowledge and ability to use computer software.
- Positive communication and working relationships with others.
- Reliable and dependable, with a record of satisfactory performance in all prior and current employment.
The Client Services Technician will work in a fast-paced clinical environment, with frequent interruptions and a high level of stress. The incumbent must be able to maintain balance, sit for prolonged periods, and frequently bend, climb, and reach. The ability to lift, push, and pull up to 10lbs is also required.
The successful candidate will be able to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members, and must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. The ability to adapt to shift work and a flexible schedule is also essential.
