We are seeking a skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for designing and enhancing industrial material handling systems, working closely with our team to deliver exceptional results.



Responsibilities
  • Design and develop conveyor systems, automated and semi-automated material handling systems, static and dynamic storage systems, mezzanines, and modules
  • Lead projects, including planning, organizing work, developing and maintaining schedules, tracking, forecasting, and reporting on project financials, enforcing company safety standards, and ensuring success
  • Estimate costs and develop bills of material for proposals and orders
  • Prepare, review, and coordinate drawings for proposals, approvals, and installation
  • Generate AutoCAD drawings from instructions and sketches
  • Provide direction, training, and mentoring to less-senior team members
  • Travel to project sites up to 25%

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience
  • Knowledge of industrial automation, including conveyor applications and equipment
  • Proficient with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to lead projects and teams
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and listening skills
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines
  • Team-oriented and collaborative
  • Creative thinking skills
  • Ability to learn new technologies
