Qualifications:
  • No prior experience necessary – comprehensive training and certification will be provided internally
  • Capability to lift weights up to 50 lbs. and remain on your feet for extended durations
  • Comfortable working in aquatic environments for prolonged periods
  • Ability to maintain composure and act effectively in emergency situations
  • Proficient in managing routine administrative tasks
  • Understanding of customer service principles and practices
  • Lifeguard certification is mandatory, to be acquired within 60 days of employment (training and certification available on-site or off-site)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver swim instruction in accordance with the Blue Gems Swim School curriculum
  • Implement safety protocols and regulations to avert accidents
  • Evaluate pre-lesson and post-lesson progress based on the swim level objectives provided, ensuring timely completion of necessary documentation
  • Communicate effectively with students and their guardians regarding progress and feedback, ensuring satisfaction
  • Inspect pool facilities before and after each session for maintenance, cleanliness, or damage concerns, reporting issues to management as needed
  • Set up and take down lane lines, and perform light cleaning tasks around the pool area
  • Carry out additional job-related duties as assigned
