Renal Care Registered Nurse

We are looking for a passionate and committed individual to join our team as a Registered Nurse at our dialysis facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide both direct and indirect nursing care for a primarily adult and geriatric population suffering from End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD).
- Employ the nursing process to evaluate patient needs, formulate and execute a comprehensive care plan, and adjust the plan as necessary based on evolving patient requirements.
- Initiate and conduct ongoing education for patients and their families, ensuring their involvement in care planning and accurately documenting the care provided.
- Maintain effective communication with physicians, ancillary services, and other healthcare professionals to guarantee seamless patient care.
- Uphold professional nursing standards and appropriately delegate tasks to support staff.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program: A.D.N. or nursing diploma is mandatory.
- Eligibility for licensure in the State of Alaska.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in computer software applications.
- Effective communication skills.
- Understanding and application of government regulations.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and optimizing clinical performance metrics.
- Dedication to customer service principles for patients, staff, and healthcare providers.
Physical Job Requirements:
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, walk, and sit for extended periods.
- Capability to lift up to 30 lbs.
