Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our faculty as a Tenure-Track Professor in the School of Nursing. The successful candidate will be responsible for continuing a program of research on a focused topical area, securing external funds, and contributing to the academic community through peer-reviewed publications, university and professional service, and teaching in undergraduate and graduate programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a strong research program with a focus on securing external funding
  • Contribute to the academic community through peer-reviewed publications and presentations
  • Teach in undergraduate and graduate programs, including developing and teaching courses
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to undergraduate and graduate students
  • Participate in university and professional service, including committee work and community engagement
Requirements
  • Ph.D. or equivalent research doctoral degree in nursing or a relevant field
  • Academic experience on the tenure track, involving teaching, research, and service at a higher education institution
  • Strong research and teaching record, with a focus on securing external funding
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a nurse researcher with active extramural funding
  • Documented record of securing external funding
Working Conditions

This position may require non-standard hours, including day, evening, online, hybrid, weekend, and other campus locations.
