Key Responsibilities- Front Desk Operations: Greet all visitors and residents in a courteous and professional manner, determine their needs, and direct them accordingly.
- Communication and Customer Service: Act as a liaison between residents, families, and staff, providing clear and concise information and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident information, including check-in and check-out procedures, visitor logs, and other relevant documentation.
- Clerical Support: Provide administrative support to the front desk team, including data entry, mail distribution, and other tasks as assigned.
- Emergency Response: Respond to emergency situations, including fire alarms, door alarms, and other critical incidents, and take appropriate action to ensure resident safety.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other departments, including maintenance, housekeeping, and dietary, to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.
- Education and Experience: High school graduate or equivalent preferred; minimum of two years of clerical experience preferred.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse personalities and age groups.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook; ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems.
- Physical and Mental Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interruptions and changing priorities; ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.
