About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Firelands Health. As a Dialysis Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional healthcare to the Sandusky Bay region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement the nursing process with patients, including carrying out physicians' orders regarding diet, medication, and treatment in accordance with Firelands standards of care.
  • Perform assessments, monitor, and ensure quality care through observation and evaluation; document nursing interventions on care plans, medical records, and report findings to physicians as needed.
  • Instruct patients, staff, and family members regarding treatments, nursing plans, and related patient care directed towards a safe discharge.
  • Respond to emergencies; maintain availability of medications and supplies; ensure cleanliness of equipment and environment.
  • Demonstrate service excellence and ACE values: Attitude, Commitment, Enthusiasm. Act as an ambassador and advocate for FRMC.
Requirements
  • Must have a current Ohio RN license and CPR prior to patient care experience.
  • Current ACLS and Basic EKG required or obtained within 6 months of hire and remain current.
  • Excellent organizational, customer service skills, and computer proficiency are a must.
