Position Overview

The Bosch Group is seeking a dedicated engineer to contribute to our research and development initiatives. This role involves engaging with cutting-edge technology and collaborating with a talented team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine assessments, upkeep, and calibration of testing apparatus.
  • Collaborate with equipment manufacturers to diagnose issues and enhance performance.
  • Innovate and fabricate devices for advanced testing methodologies.
  • Establish and execute tests, including scripting within the testing environment.
  • Work closely with researchers and modelers in a dynamic R&D setting.

Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Chemistry.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience with electrical testing equipment (e.g., fuel cell test stands, electrolysis test stands, battery cyclers, potentiostats), including calibration and troubleshooting expertise.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with electrochemistry, particularly fuel cells and electrolyzers, along with a general understanding of thermodynamics and transport phenomena.
  • Experience with programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, Visual Basic, or similar proprietary software.
  • Understanding of programmable logic controller (PLC) principles.
  • Basic knowledge of low voltage electrical systems.
  • Experience in fabricating and installing process piping.
  • Demonstrated autonomy, attention to detail, adaptability, creativity, strong communication, and teamwork skills.
