Job Title: Mechanical Designer II

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Designer II to join our team at Logistic Services Int. in Jacksonville, FL, US.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems, components, and products using 3D CAD software. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs meet customer requirements and are manufactured efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and products using 3D CAD software.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure that designs meet customer requirements and are manufactured efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain detailed drawings and models of mechanical systems and components.
  • Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to ensure that designs meet company standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to improve design efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in mechanical design and development.
  • Proficient in 3D CAD software, such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with 3D printing, additive manufacturing, and rapid prototyping.
  • Knowledge of sheet metal and machined part fabrication practices and documentation standards.
