Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems, components, and products using 3D CAD software. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs meet customer requirements and are manufactured efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and products using 3D CAD software.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure that designs meet customer requirements and are manufactured efficiently.
- Develop and maintain detailed drawings and models of mechanical systems and components.
- Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to ensure that designs meet company standards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to improve design efficiency and effectiveness.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design and development.
- Proficient in 3D CAD software, such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience with design for manufacturability and assembly.
- Knowledge of sheet metal and machined part fabrication practices and documentation standards.
