Position Overview:

The Production Assembly Specialist will play a crucial role in meeting daily production targets while prioritizing safety, quality, delivery, inventory management, and overall productivity. This position focuses on the assembly of Low Voltage Products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute complex assembly tasks to meet customer specifications by producing high-quality products in a timely manner, adhering to established procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace through the application of 5S+ principles.
  • Interpret manufacturing documentation, including electrical and mechanical drawings, and follow instructions from supervisors or engineering teams.
  • Conduct visual inspections of materials before and after assembly.
  • Identify nonconforming components and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Utilize various tools and equipment for assembly, adjustment, or repair tasks.
  • Prepare products for shipment or storage, ensuring proper labeling and grouping.
  • Assist in lifting and moving materials, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Flexibly support other areas of production as needed, including Lean Line operations and PowerWave2 tasks.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Preferred:

  • At least 6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with hand and pneumatic tools.
  • Possession of a South Carolina Manufacturing Certification (SCMC) or equivalent.

Position Criteria:

  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with effective planning and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with team members.
