Job Summary: As a Hospice Palliative Care Nurse, you will work with patients, their families, and healthcare professionals during the final stages of life. You will provide compassionate care in private homes, residential care facilities, nursing centers, and other hospice environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care, prioritizing comfort, dignity, and quality of life
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Monitor patients' conditions, alerting doctors and other professionals as needed
  • Supervise licensed vocational/practical nurses and nursing aides, ensuring exceptional care delivery

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing, licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment
  • Valid state driver's license, automobile liability insurance, and dependable transportation
  • Minimum of one year of clinical experience (strongly preferred)
  • Previous home health or hospice experience (preferred)

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on location and experience
