About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Addictions Recovery Assistant to join our team at The Behavioral Wellness Center at Girard. As a key member of our Residential Recovery Programs, you will deliver continuous support to clients and work closely with our professional team to ensure their well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out regular room inspections and prepare Personal Effects inventories for new admissions.
  • Monitor client behaviors and communicate observations to the professional team.
  • Record vital signs, blood glucose levels, and accurately document updates in electronic health records.
  • Identify and de-escalate inappropriate behavior using suitable techniques.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a solid understanding of the 12-Step Recovery Programs.
  • 12 college credits in Behavioral Health or Human Services are preferred.
  • First Aid and CPR certification is required within 30 days of employment.
