We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Electrification Systems Engineer to join our Racing Program in Santa Clarita, California.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the electrification group in defining the technical direction on ESS system, Inverter, and MGU development.
- Manage the group responsible for component selection, cells, MGU, inverter components, software, and validation processes.
- Work closely with other departments in HRC in the development of electrified powertrain systems.
- Act as a technical specialist in electrified powertrains.
- Deploy and help deploy Electrified systems at the track, review the health of the system used, and work with the track team.
Requirements:
- BS Degree in Electrical or Mechanical or Energy Engineering with emphasis in electrification, vehicle performance, or equivalent work experience.
- 5 years of experience in electrification and support of high-performance race powertrains, and energy system design and development.
- Related mechanical and electronic systems, and previous technical writing and reporting required.
- Previous data analysis and database experience required.
